The general objective of this sector is to define a common railway data model (railway system model) and a dictionary for digital twinning of the railway system (OntoRail), taking into account previous outcomes from major railway initiatives (IFC Rail, Eulynx, RSM, Linx4Rail, etc.). In addition, this sector addresses topics relating to digital transformation, such as artificial intelligence and other digital applications, in coordination with other sectors.
The Artificial Intelligence Solutions group will assess the specific applications and impacts of AI usage with an initial focus on predictive maintenance opportunities.
The Traction Energy Settlement and Data Exchange group has defined and promotes an end-to-end system for traction energy settlement between IMs and RUs.
